If you’re anything like me, as soon as you step foot into the house you start leaving a trail of footprints, keys, papers, jackets, and other possessions in various rooms. You then spend more time cleaning up the scavenger hunt of items left behind. If you find yourself running a little late the next morning, you play a game of hide-n-seek with belongings – in most cases you generally lose. I will argue that one of the most important rooms or spaces in a house is the spot where you walk in on a daily basis.
For most, it’s not the through front door, but usually the side, back, or through the garage door. In order to maximize space and reduce clutter around the house, I wanted to feature a few majestic mudrooms, hidden hallways, and excellent entryways with a purpose.
